overview of the gl accountant role:

general ledger accounting and reporting participate in month-end close analysis, preparation and posting of monthly journal entries relating to inventory, inventory reserves, labor and overhead adjustments, revenue recognition, sg&a expenses, and t&e expenditures prepare account reconciliations assists in ad hoc and special projects as needed

preferred qualifications for the gl accountant:

3+ years of gl experience knowledge of us gaap bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience prior erp experience preferred, experience in microsoft dynamics and/or quickbooks a plus
