responsibilities:

logistic support for both inbound and outbound transportation moves domestically. continuous improvement initiatives to ensure progress within transportation network. the key point of contact for all facilities for all large-scale deployments maintain accurate records of customer transactions including inquiries, comments and actions taken. interfacing with other internal teams such as sales, finance, marketing to ensure business and processes are being taken care of to meet key performance metrics. communicating with customers via telephone and in person to answer questions about products available, taking and entering orders, obtaining details on discrepancies.

we are seeking a candidate with:

ideally a bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience managing a shipping department within a mid-sized distribution / manufacturing firm or a freight forwarder / broker. experience as a current leader within a logistics / supply chain with a history of career progression strong customer service mindset excellent problem-solving skills. strong background utilizing transportation management systems is preferred.
