description:
building custom trailers for boats, by mig welding parts together that are made of aluminum and steel. the right candidate will need to have at least a year of experience and be able to past a welding test.
pay rate will depend on experience- between $16 to $18
schedule; monday thru friday - 7am till 3:45pm and every other saturday from 6am till 11am
you will also be provided with 2-10 minutes break and a 30 minute lunch
this is a temp to perm position
you will be required to wear steel toes shoes for safety purposes
duties:
develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; ordering supplies and gases.
fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
documents actions by completing records.
maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
