your responsibilities in this role

- establish and resolve the core cause of the denial

- review and research bills in which a denial of payment has been received from the payer

- prepare for resubmission corrected bills for reimbursement

- utilize all appropriate systems to effectively research denials and complete steps to resubmit bills for reimbursement

- a real talent for the explanation of benefits (eobs)

- comprehensive knowledge of insurance verifications

- medical claims experience

- knowledge of insurance regulations and policies, payment policies/guidelines and the ability to communicate and work with payers to get claims resolved and paid accurately desired

- previous denials management experience is valued

- strong customer service and office administrative skills
