the director of med/surg and icu is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the medical surgical unit. this includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management. asn required; bsn preferred in related field. minimum of 2-5 years acute care experience required; previous leadership experience preferred . must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state for which you are applying. current bcls and acls upon hire.
