installs, repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance, etc. on all electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring in a manufacturing environment.

essential job functions:

perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles.

understanding of wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections.

relocates and installs existing or new equipment and facilities

adhere to all safety regulations and/or directives.  exercise proper care and protection of company property.

possess strong mechanical skills and assist line mechanics as needed.

operate mobile equipment, including forklift trucks, lifts, and booms to assist with all production work.

maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

job requirements

associates degree or trade school preferred with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

minimum of 3 years related field experience.

must be knowledgeable of allen bradley systems, vfd's, plc's hardware and software, ac/dc circuits, 4-20 ma circuits and 440 mcc's.

ability to write code and demonstrate a working knowledge of rs logic.

ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material as associated with the position.

skilled in the use of hand and power tools, electrical test equipment and related tools and instruments necessary to perform the job.

ability to work efficiently to support high speed, fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.

must have good trouble shooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergency situations.

strong written and verbal communication skills.

must be able to take direction as well as be self-motivated and work alone.

willingness to work 12-hour rotating crew consisting of nights (6pm to 6am) and weekends (; holidays as needed.

starting base wage is $27.23 with max pay at $28.03/hour.  continuous operation premium of an additional $.45/hour.  nights shift premium of additional $.50/hour.

applicants with a wisconsin state master electrician certification base wage is $31.31/hour.

$2,000.00 graduated sign on bonus.
