robert half is looking for a well-organized billing clerk with an attention to detail for a position in the transport industry. this long-term contract billing clerk opportunity is with an organization in the transport industry and is based in the logan township, new jersey area. in this billing clerk position, you will review bills and perform data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. if you are a hard worker looking to build your career, this may be the billing clerk job for you.
responsibilities
- operate closely with other functional teams to certify data consistency and excellence
- review, process, and evaluate bills or invoices for services rendered
- analyze billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary
- institute financial procedures and contr
- microsoft word experience desired- foundational knowledge in microsoft excel
- deep understanding of financial statement preparation
- bank reconciliations experience
- journal entries experience
- sound written and verbal communication skills
- completely competent in working with spreadsheets, internet applications and erp systems
- bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of experience in a related role
- excellent data entry skills
