summary:the qti group is recruiting for an assembler for a manufacturing company located in menomonee falls, wi. the ideal candidate will have minimum of one-year experience in assembly, as well as, reading off blueprints and utilizing basic hand tools. this is a contract-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift with pay starting at $18.00 an hour.
responsibilities:check blueprints, routings, and validate rev levels match production schedulevisually inspect parts for chips, burrs, cleanliness, broken tooling and other defectsperform “first-piece inspections” and various unsupervised routine inspectionsperform some spot welding when needed qualificationsability to stand 85-100% of the timemust be able to follow production and quality standardsother skill sets apply: picker/packer, warehouse, production associate, welder, spot welder
