Pds tech, inc. is seeking qc technician to work at the swedesboro, nj

responsibilities: perform verification of order quantities, final counts, packing slips and shipping labels for completion of ordersperform verification of order contents using customers quality tracking toolnotify operations manager and qa /manager of any discrepancies and unusual trends work closely with operations to identify and correct any system or human generated discrepancies inclusive of corrective and preventative action. make suggestions on quality improvements to facilitate change to standard operating procedures (sops) or client work instructions (cwis).maintain exceptional work environments that allow for impromptu client inspections, potential client tours and ensure image of patheon logistics as an industry leader. follow quality protocols, complying with warehouse and good distribution policies and standard operation procedures, by mitigating errors, without damaging cartons or product, and ensuring client product is in the best condition.ensure processes adherence by matching systems and/or paperwork to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and client service levels.perform client product verification in cold room and ambient temperature environment as required.pay close attention to detail avoiding distractions during auditing and verification processes.conduct visual and electronic inspections of in-process pick and pack operations conduct work in a safe and effective manner and take appropriate action to correct unsafe acts, systems, and procedures. comply with relevant laws, company guidelines and requirements through adherence to company policies relating to quality, safety, attendance, and housekeeping.
 qualifications: high school diploma or ged requiredmust have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.experience in working effectively with limited supervision is also important. ability to learn and adapt new concepts quickly documentation skills for errors and discrepancy logs good verbal and written communication can do attitude.team playerhigh degree of attention to detailproblem solver proficient in microsoft excel, word, etc. willingness to work weekends and overtime as required by the business.
