Product engineer ii - united states, mansfield

emerson has an exciting growth opportunity for a product engineer ii, based in our ontario, ohio location. you will use your creativity, manufacturing knowledge and engineering expertise to support the design of products and coordination of the manufacturing process to meet our customers needs. 

you will work on a variety of different projects and collaborate with diverse colleagues across departments. this is an excellent opportunity to learn and showcase your expertise on our products while managing multiple projects. 

as a product engineer you will:

review technical customer order issues per quotations. assign manufacturing and purchased components to complete required bill of material. creates and/or oversees applicable drawing requirements including assembly and detailed drawings. conduct stress analysis of material and components. create pneumatic hydraulic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams. provide technical engineering support to other departments as needed.

required education, experience & skills:

bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related 2 years of experience in a production engineering or product design environment within a related industry experience in 3d modeling (solid edge a plus) experience in finite element analysis (fea) proficient in microsoft office suite ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines legal authorization to work in the united states without sponsorship either now or in the future
