job summary:
work with a company that designs, creates, and manufactures real-estate building access devices for commercial and residential users. devices are controlled through web, mobile and iot access. work with other engineers to prototype, design, and manufacture electro/mechanical and digital circuit devices. there will be pcb designers, electronics technicians and others contributing in the lab, and assisting with deployment of devices. work with other oem manufacturers who will interact with your devices.

remote for now. then will need to be able to work onsite 2 days a week.
occasional travel to client sites to implement products.

required skills/experience 8+ years electrical engineering design, prototyping, and production of mechanical / electrical products with micro-device architecture. advanced digital circuit design experience with electrical design troubleshooting and resolving hardware problems. experience with electrical design software in a hardware device lab and manufacturing environment (list all on your resume) experience working with software engineers to integrate with your hardware devices, software interfaces, communications protocols such as (zigbee, zwave, or bluetooth) digital circuit design experience working through fcc, ul, ce compliance and certification bachelors degree electrical engineering
desired experience: experience designing or manufacturing consumer electronics devices nfc or bluetooth firmware coding experience analog circuit design supply chain management solutions (inventory, product, bom, etc)
soft skills:

can mentor other jr level engineers
