core competencies / responsibilities:

perform vehicle pre-trip inspectionoperate 45 ft over the road motor coachcomplete pre-trip inspection report and deposit copyreport any corrections to dispatch and or maintenance supervisoroperate his/her vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all timesobserve and obey all posted speed limits and traffic lawsmaintain a current commercial driver’s license current, dot cardreport any changes in their driving record immediately upon changedocument all times, passenger counts, incidents, or any other information requestedassist with ada passengers to ensure safe transportwill follow all safety requirements as instructed by safety managerother duties as required

knowledge and experience:

must be at least 21 years of ageverifiable cdl (commercial driver’s license) with a passenger endorsement5 years of driving experience preferred; 3 years required which must be verifiable through dmvstrong knowledge of the service area (multi county area including dc) is preferredprofessionally groomed and uniformed at all timemust be able to pass a criminal background checkmust have a clean verifiable driver record (no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years)must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and dot physicalcustomer service experience is requiredhigh degree of comfort working with people with disabilities.possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision making skillsmust be able and willing to work monday - friday split shift schedulemust be flexible and willing to work monday - saturday
