summary

provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and performs general accounting functions for the company

essential duties and responsibilities include the following. other duties may be assigned.

analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information. prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts. reconcile high volume bank statement on a monthly basis. monitor sales tax filings and respond to inquiries and notices from taxing authorities and ensures that sales tax licenses are renewed in a timely manner. tracks and maintains fixed asset listings. prepares wire payments and maintain corresponding documentation. analyze and update system costs as directed by the cost accountant. month end & year end closing duties. assists with year end financial audit. develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes. answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. process census surveys and other government forms. other projects assigned as needed.

requirements

bachelors degree in accounting or finance required. 2+ years experience in accounting. proficient in advanced excel and other microsoft office products. strong written and oral communication skills. ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. strong organizational and analytical skills. able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports. willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationship. knowledgeable on sfas rules. have great time management, productivity, and reporting skills. must have attention to detail and be deadline oriented. ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism. must be able to work with all levels within the organization. thorough knowledge of general accounting including thorough skills knowledge, plus the application of general accounting theory.

compensation

salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $60,000-$65,000. we also offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability, product discounts, educational assistance, and more.
