are you looking to contribute your skills at a well-respected organization as an accounting clerk? an accounting clerk is needed by a department to support its daily operations. this position is available through robert half. the accounting clerk duties will include matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. we offer a dynamic, team-oriented workspace, great benefits, and future career advancement opportunity. this is a long-term contract position based in the moorestown, new jersey area.

-      processing of invoices, credit memos and other postings to accounts receivable

-      match vendor invoices to checks for payment

-      maintain daily cash flow

-      bank reconciliations for operating and payroll accounts

-      entering accounts payable invoices.

-      process accounts payable checks

-      assorted general ledger month end close duties

-      strong written and verbal communications skills.

-      proficient in microsoft office (excel, outlook and word)

-      knowledge of general accounting principles

-      minimum high school diploma; associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
