Marketing coordinator - united states, harrisonburg
the marketing coordinator reports directly to the product manager within the medical business unit and will play a vital role in the powerex marketing team. he/she will work cross-functionally with all departments of powerex to help grow sales, support, and lead marketing efforts, commercialize new products and promote and grow the powerex brand.
key responsibilities:
create and maintain sales and marketing literature
· create product brochures, advertisements, training material, price books, quote sheets, etc.
· maintain library of literature, make updates when necessary
· create youtube videos for sales and service training
· work closely with engineering and operations to get all necessary product data
marketing communications
· create and execute mass communications to field sales, distributors, end users
· manage website content and functionality
· develop occasional advertising campaigns through appropriate industry media (industry publications, social media, etc.)
coordinate trade show activities
· manage trade show schedules, registrations, budget, and personnel attendance
· maintain inventory of relevant materials, product demos, giveaways, etc.
· organize and follow up on lead generation
market research
· support efforts to gather and prioritize voc to help guide new product ideas, existing product changes, and new market penetration
product promotion
· implement periodic product promotions and track performance
· communication each promotion to field sales, distributors, and end-users
experience
entry-level to 3 years marketing experience
skills/abilities
graphic design experience with adobe suite working knowledge of wordpress project management skills, organizational skills, multi-tasking ability skills working with cross-functional organizations and both internal and external stakeholders self-motivated with strong initiative and follow-through skills as well as a collaborative work style business acumen with the ability to make logical business decisions able to quickly learn technical material and industry-specific jargon ms office able to create and edit youtube videos a plus able to travel up to 10%
education
minimum of 2-year degree, preferably in marketing or communications
