we are actively recruiting for a people-oriented, process/systems-focused, and results-driven plant manager for our largest dolco packaging plant in lawrenceville, ga. in this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all manufacturing operations for a 24/7 non-unit plant with over 150 employees and plans for continued growth and expansion.

qualifications / experience

10-15 plus years of progressive management/leadership experience that includes p&l responsibility and demonstrated success leading in several functional areas (e.g., production, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, etc.).strong collaboration and relationship building skills, to include the proven ability to develop high performing teams.must be able roll-up your sleeves and manage “hands on” and be able to see the big picture, case vision, step back and be “hands off”. this job will require balance. the person stepping into this role cannot run the plant like an executive, nor can they stay in the weeds day-after-day. the ability to effectively balance both leadership styles and skills will be required.experience specific to high growth environments.experience developing and implementing workplace processes/systems that are repeatable, scalable, and sustainable.experience in food packaging is preferred.proven ability to manage projects and deploy/lead continuous improvement/operational excellence programs and initiatives within a manufacturing environment.ability to operate and communicate effectively in person, over the telephone, and in groups, under normal and stressful conditions.strong decision-making skills, sound judgment, and the ability to create/adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related fieldproficiency in ms excel, ms powerpoint and ms word is required.
