summary:

production associate i's perform an array of entry-level duties, including cleaning, disassembly, testing and prepping of merchandise and equipment. may specialize in beds or stretchers.

responsibilities :

disassembles equipment that will be refurbished. tests equipment then logs and communicates results of testing. cleans prepares or replaces parts on the equipment as directed. follows all safety guidelines. maintains a clean working environment. participates in activities to improve warehouse organization and cleanliness. actively looks for opportunities to improve efficiency.

activities :

observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources. communicates with customers and coworkers, via spoken or written communications. develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. participates in the resolution of conflicts and complaints, in order to settle disputes and resolve grievances in the best way possible. analyses information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems. assists with training of newly employed associates.

skills and experience:

previous equipment cleaning or detailing experience preferred. actively listens to others by paying full attention to what they are saying and not interrupting. ensures own understanding by asking questions as needed. manages time effectively and efficiently. collaborates to ensure optimal understanding an issue before planning a solution. gets along with others, adjusting own actions as needed. participates or leads in negotiation and reconciliation processes. uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems. manages material resources by obtaining and appropriately using equipment, facilities, and materials. maintains customer service orientation by actively looking for ways to help customers and coworkers. understands the workflow, maintaining a focus on details while keeping track of the big picture.

education and qualifications:

high school diploma or ged equivalent.
