summary: the vendor compliance associate position requires an individual who has strong organization, problem-solving, and research skills. this individual will need the ability to manage multiple requests from suppliers and approvers simultaneously as well as the ability to work with multiple departments and levels of management within the company. the associate will be responsible for all aspects of openticket and audit intel for assigned suppliers and approvers. the job requires a high degree of openinvoice/openticket systems knowledge, accuracy and attention to detail. it also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
job duties and responsibilities:
monitor daily activity within openticket to identify issues and ensure timely processing of field ticketswork with new and existing suppliers on the openticket onboarding process and ensure compliance with field ticket requirementscollaborate with procurement to incorporate pricebooks into openinvoicehandle day to day questions regarding field ticket processes and procedureswork with it to onboard new approvers and manage all ticketing workflow processescollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of ticketing and invoicing requirements across company departments for continual process and system improvementmaintain system settings within openticketresearch audit intel anomaliesschedule trainings with suppliers and approvers as neededother duties as assigned required qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent (ged)four (4) or more years of relevant experience in a field such as accounts payable, vendor relations and/or master datavendor/supplier management, ticket validationdemonstrable skills in microsoft office, specifically excelexcellent verbal and written communication skills high degree of accuracy and attention to detailexcellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsflexible regarding workload and priorities preferred qualifications:
bachelor's degree (bba or bs) preferredfour (4) or more years of oil and gas accounting experience demonstrated proficiency in enverus platform (openinvoice, openticket, audit intel)sap experienceability to pick up on new concepts quickly possess a positive and team-oriented attitude self-motivated with ability to work with minimal instruction relocation:
