genesis10 is currently seeking a ui designer ii with our client in the seo industry in their boulder, co location. this is a 12 month + contract position.

summary: the authorable workflows team builds troubleshooters that integrate our client's products and its support systems. our products help our client's ads customers resolve their issues quickly and efficiently, whether they are seeking self-help on the support website, or talking with a support agent.
responsibilities: as a workflow ux designer, you will be responsible for designing the user interactions for new workflows - the flow from page to page, page layout, presentation of key information, and overall user experience, making use of available ui widgets and paradigms. this includes leading the ux design portion of our design sprint process, creating and iterating on mocks based on feedback. top 3 daily responsibilities: build ux designs for new authorable workflows during design sprints (logic flow, ui mockup design, clickable prototypes, presentation of completed design). this may involve dialog and light user research with key stakeholders (e.g. support agents). communicate designs and collect feedback from key stakeholders (ux, eng, end users, business stakeholders). based on feedback, iterate, revise, and obtain final design signoff. develop standardized ux templates for common user journeys in the workflows space, reducing turnaround time when building for a standardized use case. qualifications: bachelor's degree in design or equivalent work experience 2+ yrs of ux design experience experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists and product managers throughout the design process 2+ yrs of experience creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes (sketch, figma, or equivalent tools) experience creating visual flowcharts outlining interaction flows (e.g. lucidchart, visio, etc) experience playing a role in lightweight prototyping and user research great communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems able to work as a w2 employee of genesis10 (no corp-to-corp)
desired: basic programming experience (java, python, or similar languages). strong communication and collaboration skills. proven track record of close collaboration with teams and stakeholders. ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with a user-centered design process. deep knowledge of interaction design, visual design and information architecture. demonstrate empathy for end users, effectively resolve user needs and pain points in design solutions. experience playing a role in lightweight prototyping and user research. excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (i.e. android and ios).
