Warehouse supervisor - united states, st. cloud

as a warehouse supervisor for park industries, be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities including receiving, processing sales orders, supervising and training associates, and providing input on overall warehousing needs. this person will be involved in cross department functions working with other supervisors to coordinate meetings, projects and continuous improvement initiatives. a warehouse supervisor will coordinate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and work with other departments on process improvements for management of inventory. this person will be involved in managing the flow of parts between work areas thru the manufacturing process and organization of all outbound freight.

in this role you will: 

coordinates and leads warehouse activities including: receiving, sales order fulfillment, material handling, machine loading, outbound shipments, and inventory accuracy.  communicates priorities, monitors progress and resolves problems in a timely manner. conducts weekly team meetings.hires, trains, develop and review all direct reports with assistance of the inventory control manager. takes disciplinary action as necessary, on a timely basis, and in accordance with company policy.  documents, plans and delivers meaningful and timely performance reviews and motivates and recognizes associates timely. ensures new hires are properly trained and associates are cross trained within the department to support continuous associate development. ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations.leads warehouse continuous improvement projects and working in cross department meetings to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization to maximize efficiencies.responsible for the establishment, implementation and monitoring of warehouse related metrics (ncr, safety, work center productivity, associate productivity, etc.).assists director, supply chain with warehouse budgets, evaluating capacity and manpower forecasting, and capital expenditures.

education/experience requirements:

two-year technical degree in related field or equivalent experiencefive years previous related experience in warehouse, preferably in a related industry
