healthcare facility is seeking a temporary benefits specialist for a long term assignment and be responsible for coordinating, administering and maintaining one or more major segments of the statutory or voluntary employee benefit programs including workers' compensation, nys disability, the flexible benefits plan including group health, dental, vision, life, vision, etc., ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal employee understanding and satisfaction.

skills & requirements:

excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

problem-solving and organizations skills are essential.

proficient in microsoft word & microsoft excel

associate degree in business administration or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

2-3 years of experience preferred.

work hours:  monday - friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
