modis is hiring for a jr product manager (oem). in this position you will break down problems, analyze competitor pricing. you will analyze the market, do competitive research, competitive analysis, data modeling and be able to crunch numbers work within a team. this is a hybrid-remote (onsite once a month), located in reston, va. this role is direct hire.
responsibilities
responsible for product management developing road map discovering customer pain points and translating that into requirements working cross functionally analyzing b2b customers feedback to improve and refine products establish pricing for products develop business case analyzing market for competitor research, look at historical data to determine pricing and putting together an analysisrequired skills
5+ years’ experience including work in product management, corporate/business strategy, finance, or related fields experience with b2b and b2c customer research including data analytics, surveys, and focus groups strong interpersonal skills ability to solve problems creatively, strong analytical thinker ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment and flex as needs and priorities change skilled in microsoft powerpoint, excel, word knowledge of both traditional automotive and new automotive (e.g., ride hail, car share) industriesdesired
knowledge of evs, ev charging, and/or energy/utilities knowledge and experience in managing complex product from strategy and planning through delivery, monitoring and maintenanceeducation
bachelor’s degree in business or a related field of study
