responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- assemble mechanical units, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to standardized process
- examine connections for correct fit
- fasten parts and subassemblies
- process, package, label and move finished products for shipment
- adhere to safety and quality standards
- align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- interpret blueprint specifications for each unit
- conduct first piece inspection to adhere to quality standards
- understand product packaging and labeling procedures
- support new product initiatives
- maintain production schedule expectations
- sustain inventory and parts replenishment system

requirements:
- high school diploma or ged; courses in industrial technology preferred
- at least one year of general assembly experience
- proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment
- able to lift up to 50lbs
