Epc account manager - united states, lowell

borrego is seeking an epc account manager to join our growing team! the primary purpose of this position is to drive bookings and revenue growth in assigned key accounts, through establishing and maintaining strong relationships with ipp customers. the candidate will be expected to be the primary account relationship owner and must either have or quickly develop a fundamental market knowledge and the ability to create a successful plan to win new business. a strong applicant will be a strategic leader, competitive self-starter, smart, articulate, motivated, challenge-oriented, independent, creative, and organized, with the ability to learn the technical and financial details of our business quickly.

position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

close epc contracts for solar and energy storage projects with ipp clientsmeet or exceed annual sales targets as established by your managerwork independently and with senior management team to develop and execute on account and deal specific strategic plans to win identified opportunitiesown the relationship of key ipp accounts and develop projects from inception to executed contract with those accountsidentify and clearly communicate borrego’s epc value proposition and competitive positioning to clientsbe able to generate leads/opportunities primarily through independent activities including account profiling, business networking and other account penetration strategiesbuild nuance understanding of clients’ business models, pipelines, procurement decision process and what they value in an epc partnerwork with borrego pre-construction, engineering and construction teams to identify the most appropriate technical solutions to optimize system competitiveness and clearly present solutions to clientsgenerate proposals, quotes, and formal rfp responses against tight deadlines while executing a high win / close ratelead epc contract negotiations with legal and pre-construction teams to close transactionsconsult with clients and construction / finance professionals in developing necessary financial models to assist with tax, financing, and regulatory related research and negotiationslead project hand-off to operations team for closed businessmeticulously maintain targeted account strategy documents, pipeline reporting, and deal activity in our crm tools (salesforce exp. preferred)present projects to borrego’s executive leadership team for approvals prior to contract signingperform other duties as assigned
