design of complex products. strong understanding of large steel casting design. expert in steel casting foundry processes and tooling design. expert in product cad model development. lead engineering design realization of products (parts, drawings, testing, etc.). analysis of tolerances, stress/strain, statics, dynamics, heat transfer, etc. specification of engineering materials, and manufacturing processes. active support/lead quality improvement teams. active support/lead cost reduction teams. must understand and support all quality, product safety, and health/safety/environmental/energy policies. must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations. must understand, support and adhere to the integrated management system policies, procedures and instructions. must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (kpis), as defined in the goal tree.

required education and experience

bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 5-10 years of relevant experience
