arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. with a corporate mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better™, arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. the cloud applications team in naples, florida (inc) is responsible for maintaining and supporting cloud applications used by our business partners.  we are searching for an intern pursuing a degree in it, business, or computer science to help support our applications. the individual will become familiar with multiple software as a service applications while assisting end-users who monitor and maintain projects for the development and manufacturing of medical devices.

this internship will run from may 2022 – august 2022. the ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our naples, fl facility.

main objective:

to provide application support to the arthrex cloud applications team.

essential duties and responsibilities:

work management application administration

train business users on application usage

help business users in need of application support

manage a project for application upgrades including planning, managing timelines and deliverables and ensuring test cases are accurate and fulfilled

master data governance of fields and forms (performing data cleansing activities on multiple data sets) 

this is an in-office position located in naples, fl; it is not a remote position.

education and experience:

progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in computer science. (students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.) customer service experience preferred. website development and/or computer programming experience preferred. 

knowledge and skill requirements/specialized courses and/or training:

basic to intermediate computer skills. be able to follow written and verbal direction.

machine, tools, and/or equipment skills:

pc; familiarity with microsoft outlook; powerpoint; word and excel. fax; scanner.
