job description summary:

global marketing assistant manager, public relations will be involved in all aspects of public relations for both our nail & lash categories, including development and implementation of pr & influencer programs on a global level (us, canada, uk, germany).

responsibilities:

· creates and executes innovative and engaging public relations & influencer campaigns

· coordinates & interacts regularly with external public relations agencies for execution of all programs globally

· organizes public relations activations and events to promote the company’s image and serves as a brand ambassador

· establishes influencer marketing strategy; briefs and develops contracts with agencies, manages influencer selection and approval and reports on campaign results

· manages and coordinates creative mailers with external agencies

· collaborates with brand marketing teams for nail and lash categories to ensure programs are aligned with overall strategies and goals; organizes weekly statuses with brand members

· reviews media content and press releases

· provides category and brand recommendations for marketing support activities related to public relations and influencers

· oversees public relations budget and inputs invoices

· establishes kpis and goals, and prepares reporting on media and activation results

· reports to director of global marketing

requirements:

·         detail-oriented, collaborative, have a positive attitude, strong computer skills, a self- starter, be well organized and possess good interpersonal skills. 

·         marketing or communications major required

·         3-6+ years public relations experience with track record of success

·         strong passion and knowledge in beauty, pop culture, social media, and influencers

·         skills – strong strategic and executional skills

·         excellent writing, oral presentation, and communication skills

·         results oriented

·         outstanding computer skills (powerpoint, excel, etc)

·         travel required; approximately 4-6 times a year

·         previous work for a consumer beauty company
