seeking an hr assistant to maintain the front desk/reception area, greets customers, answers the main human resources phone number, and provides initial customer services. performs a wide variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to, sorting mail, logging various forms and maintaining/auditing files. assists other human resources staff and performs other functions as needed to help the human resources office run smoothly and efficiently.
answers phones in the hr department and provides answers and/or directs calls to the appropriate specialist for answers.
applies professional judgment and works independently to responses to reference checks and verification of employment status.
provides clerical and operational support to human resources staff (e.g. sap password resets, create badges, process address/tax changes, etc.)
protects and maintains confidential personnel files, personnel actions, and business information
education / qualification:
2-year degree or equivalent office/clerical support experience.
previous human resources experience a plus
proficient in microsoft office suite products
