remote recruiter - independent contractor / 1099 

compensation: likely average of $30/hr to $35/hr. pay is based on activity, not per hour (hourly pay will be higher based on efficiency). this is not a commission-only or placement fee-only opportunity.

role type: independent contractor (1099). starts part-time with the potential to go full-time if desired (40-50 hours). we are looking for long-term fits (not a temp assignment).

hours: we are super flexible to your daily life, but you do need to be available to work most core business hours (just because that's when our clients are available).

location: remote opportunity. must be located in the u.s. and eligible to work without future sponsorship.

hoops hr is unique in that we offer a flat monthly recruitment subscription model (think of us like netflix, but for recruiting software and labor support). clients can either opt for our sourcing only offering (sourcing candidates via passive/active channels), source + screen offering (sourcing package + visual application/resume reviews by our recruiters), source + screen + interviewing offering (source, visually review/qualify, and phone screen talent), or beyond with additional customizable packages that include onboarding process support, pipelining only, an email candidate nurture campaign, and so much more. as a customizable solution for our clients, we understand their hiring/talent support needs and uniquely solve them.

recruiter responsibilities:

be prepared for this list to evolve over time. ultimately the recruiter takes care of our client's recruitment needs and manages the relationship as a direct recruiting consultant.

working on behalf of our clients as a direct, exclusive consultant manage the full-cycle recruiting process from kick-off / intake meetings with hiring managers, to sourcing/screening to closing candidates across a broad range of roles leads the client / hiring team relationship through active client communication, including regularly scheduled touch base meetings resume / application reviews (what hoops calls "visual screens") candidate phone screens and scheduling first interviews for clients proactively source top talent and gain candidate interest in our clients' opportunities (through linkedin recruiter, etc.) feedback to the operations team/account owners on the status of each account (applicant flow, quality, and feedback to make the recruiting process more efficient) as a software-first company, effectively use the hoops hr talent engagement platform / ats to add and track candidates recruitment strategy and recommendations - come up with unique solutions to our clients' needs (our clients lean on us as recruiting experts) special talent and/or hr-related projects as needed

recruiter requirements:

2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably with some exposure to professional roles at various levels professional business acumen. you must be comfortable and excited to lead meetings with leadership-level clientele (hr leads, c-suite, and/or department heads). tech-savvy with an affinity for picking up new software / program updates easily; we are a customizable talent solution software after all. ;) self-starter open to an entrepreneurial, changing environment (if you need clear structure, this company isn't likely for you) creativity - you enjoy finding new ways to write job descriptions, tackle the "low flow"issue, send quirky unconventional messages to talent on linkedin, and are not afraid to take risks that can lead to something genius. we are imperfect people just trying to do our best through meaningful work. therefore, what's most important to us is you find this work fun, do your best, and love helping our clients find amazing talent and candidates find their dream jobs!
