summary:

conduct warfare system integration planning, design engineering and drawing development for current and new construction naval ships conduct ship checks to measure and project construction progress develop and modify drawings perform technical reviews of ship technical data packages (tdps), pre-initial change proposal (picip), and change notices (cns) to identify deficiencies within the drawings work together with technical representatives developing technical solutions for ship system and integration issues. review ship change documents (scds) review shipbuilder / planning yards provided ship installation drawings (sids) provide engineering support for ship's test, evaluation and certification efforts

requirements:

b.s. degree in engineering preferred, but not required pe license is a plus must be a us citizen must be eligible or possess a secret level clearance. familiar with us navy warfare systems ship integration engineering experience: shipboard tactical electronic systems such as sensors, weapons, command and control, communications, mission planning, force planning, intelligence, aviation, intercommunications, networks, fiber and support systems ship integration engineering experience with ship engineering change proposals, development and review of ship drawings recent experience supporting naval surface warfare center dahlgren division (nswcdd) ship integration efforts preferred, but not required autocad and inventor preferred, but not required.
