accounting manager

a family-owned company, dynomax, inc designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles. we are seeking an experienced accounting manager with a strong manufacturing background who will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, and payroll.

job responsibilities include:

manage all a/p, a/r, payroll, cost accounting functions in accordance with gaap & other regulatory agencies. prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

job requirements include:

minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment experience working with erp systems, epicor preferred ability to manage multiple duties in a fast paced environment experience with general ledger, fixed assets, and inventory accounting interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization self-starter with problem solving skills strong computer skills, particularly in excel prior supervisory experience
