responsibilities:

responsibilities: vendor liasion

• utilizes available reporting to identify late purchase orders (drop ship or stock) and contacts vendors to expedite purchase orders

• utilizes available reporting to identify items that project to run out of stock before they deliver and contacts vendors to expedite purchase orders

• escalates any major vendor delays that would cause a negative impact on customer experience to purchasing and product management leadership

• assists vendors in navigating the client's vendor portal including routing freight for purchase orders, updating delivery dates, billing drop-ship pos, and creating logons for additional vendor contacts

• works with warehouse and ap teams to process receiving and inventory exceptions according to established time and process guidelines and avoid inventory discrepancies/loss

• meets or exceeds established customer service level goals for assigned items/suppliers

qualifications:

• excellent organizational and planning skills are required – need strong follow up

• excellent verbal and written communications skills required bachelor’s degree in business (supply chain, finance, operations, engineering) is preferred but not required

• computer literacy and proficiency in ms office (high functioning in excel) is required

preferences:

• experience with erp – jd edwards, sap, oracle

• experience with planning/replenishment software –blue ridge, oracle, jda, sap, logility, etc.
