edi analyst role responsibilities:

the analyst in this role develops and grows the electronic transfer of information between internal and external systems and provides support for processes currently in place. this includes developing edi maps and formatting as requested by customers. in addition, analyst is responsible for testing and implementing new transactions with customers. other tasks include managing all edi file processing and troubleshooting processes to resolve all transaction file issues. the analyst will also provide support for processes currently in place for edi/ data sync efforts. this role supports development of new transformations in oracle and qad systems. analyst must accomplish project goals, meet established schedules, and resolves technical issues. analyst is also responsible for creating documentation/ training documents that helps manage processes.

qualifications:

2 to 5 years of experience implementing edi solutionstechnical background with experience in configuring standard edi transactions with trading partners on an erp platformintegration with third-party logistics companies is a plusoracle ebs and / or qad system experience a plusassociate degree or higher preferred

skills and competencies:

ability to analyze functional and technical needs and provide solutiongood communication skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementationstrong verbal and written communication skillsstrong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skillsability to read and understand raw datamust pay attention to detail
