per se group has a great opportunity for an inspection planner with our refinery client. the inspection planner is responsible for both conducting core planning activities as well as managing / coordinating all planning efforts within their portfolio. you will be responsible for assessing incoming work orders, developing work order steps, timing/links within the plan and materials needed for contractors to execute the plan.

responsibilitiesoversees creation of detailed plans for maintenance execution, including coordination with the inspection and reliability engineering teams to determine technical requirements.develops bill of materials (boms); support assessing and sourcing quotes for materials and service requirements (e.g., required parts, specialized contractors).reviews the inspection test plans and builds detailed step-out plans to perform the work in accordance with safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices and inputs plans into primavera p6.supports the assembly and development of the ta inspection plan.assembles pertinent information and documents by line item (marked up equipment drawings, inspection test plans, plot plans, p&ids, historical information, etc.).completes field walks to ensure all information is captured in the plan. works with other planners to ensure ties are accurate and feasible based on the planned path of construction.
preferred skills and expertisedemonstrated proficiency in inspection execution and planning, include surface and tube eddy-current, api-510 inspection, mt, pt and wfmpt.knowledge of and experience with primavera p6, innovative planning system (ips), microsoft office, sharepoint and onenote.strong organization, teamwork, and communication skills.
