this position is located in mclean, va but could be fully remote for the right candidate

what you'll be doing
draft, review, and negotiate commercial item, technology-based contracts and orders with government agencies, resellers, and systems integrators;draft, review, and negotiate reseller, distribution, and subcontract agreements with oems;review order level terms and conditions and far flow-down provisions;draft, review, and edit end user license agreements (eulas);identify and manage compliance issues arising from new and existing federal procurement regulations and government practices such as cmmc and dpas;assist in the preparation of bids and proposals;improve team efficiency and delivery of world class legal support through process enhancements;provide advice and counsel on all aspects of federal procurement matters including gsa schedules, sewp, far, dfars, contract disputes, audits, and compliance;counsel and inform sales, finance, and operations teams on applicable rules and regulations;conduct regular training on government contracts for new and existing employees;become a thought leader on federal procurement issues and topics - author blogs and articles and conduct webinars for suppliers and customers;develop and maintain productive relationships with account and customer managers to ensure efficient deal flow.

experience / education
jd from an accredited law school;bar membership in a state (or district of columbia) in good standing;at least 3 years of legal experience including federal, commercial item procurement and contracting experience;previous experience drafting and negotiating commercial software and technology-based licensing agreements;working knowledge of far and dfars;previous experience negotiating and structuring deals under gsa, sewp, and open market contracts.highest degree of personal and professional integrity and ethics.

annual hiring range/hourly rate:

$139,200.00 - $217,800.00

actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. the pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
