we are hiring a part time support staff to assist with coverage & needs for the adult protective services unit.

duties to include but not limited to the following:

support assistance to case management activities conduct field visits client oversight screen referrals

knowledge & abilities

aging, adult foster home program, assistant living and nursing home placement criteria. adult risk factors social work practices and ethics community resources interview and assessing needs strong written and oral communication skills basic organization and able to multitask computer skills to include excel & power point knowledge of laws, policies and regulations

must be able to:

pass federal, state & cps background checks as required by licensing possess a valid driver’s license in the state of va or nc & acceptable driving record by the dmv and proof of valid car insurance and maintain acceptable status to meet job requirements.

qualifications:

two (2) years in adult protective services or working directly with the older and disabled adult population. bachelor's degree in a human services field (social work, counseling, gerontology, guidance and counseling, family and child development, psychology or sociology) and three (3) years of experience in a human services field bachelor's degree in any field accompanied by a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a human services

 

 

pay rate $23.95
