we are hiring a clinical records reviewer –to assist with the assurance of compliance with external and department standards regarding case records via chart review.

job responsibilities

assist in the processing of critical incidents and complaints perform routine chart reviews of clinical records. conduct reviews of clinical documentation related to updates and changes assist in the development and updating of chart review analyze information obtained related to chart review assist with investigation as needed

knowledge of the following:

department case records standards, of dbhds licensure, carf, and medicaid of behavior health and developmental services assessment techniques electronic health records, knowledge of state and local human rights policies and procedures. assists in the processing of critical incident and complaints, and as needed mental health and substance abuse and intellectual disability services for adults and children. experience working with computers, computer report and spreadsheets, monitoring and utilizing date.

qualifications

 licensed as a mental health professional preferred.   minimum qualifications of education (at a bachelor’s degree)and experience equivalent to nine years in the fields utilizing the knowledge , skills and ability  and associated with such positions as clinician, counselor , social worker.

must be able to:

pass federal, state & cps background checks as required by licensing possess a valid driver’s license in the state of va or nc & acceptable driving record by the dmv and proof of valid car insurance and maintain acceptable status to meet job requirements.
