gabrielli truck sales is currently seeking to fill a position in our parts department.

job description:

sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

responsibilities:

assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line. answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. provides high level of service to customers. notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate attention. follows up on back-ordered parts. receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization. ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer. ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice. participates in all training programs that are made available. keeps current on new products and product updates. computer knowledge be motivated, proactive, focused and well organized minimum 3 years experience with auto or truck parts

education and/or experience:

high school graduate parts department experience

physical demands: the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

able to work overtime when necessary flexible hours ability to stand all day if necessary ability to lift 60 lbs. use of a hand truck if necessary climbing up ladders and stairs warehouse environment
