primary responsibility:
the selected candidate will provide support and assistance to the service manager.
responsibilities include but not limited to:
review and download all "request for quote"emails
assist in schedule of technicians for daily assignments
call vendors for parts pricing and lead time
review vendor's proposal with service manager
negotiate with vendors and issue purchase order upon approval
handle additional dispatching during work flow
follow up with vendors regarding delivery and estimated time of arrival of the parts
make arrangements to deliver the parts to the job site
able to handle multiple requests while maintaining a friendly and professional manner
develops good working relationship and repertoire with customers/suppliers
resolve any issues or disputes in a timely, professional manner that balances customer requests with business needs
follow company pricing and guidelines
resolve access issues with clients when services are to be performed
maintain relationship with client and technician to perform the service request most efficiently
receive and log deliveries of materials

qualifications:
hs diploma/ged
minimum 2 years’ experience procuring commercial hvac parts/equipment
history of successful record management: purchase orders; inventory; receipts
computer literate with strong math skills
ability to quickly learn and utilize relevant computer programs
willingness to take ownership of area of responsibility
strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
excellent time management and ability to work at a fast pace
sense of urgency toward exceeding deadlines
