the quality inspector will perform product inspections, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. the inspector will ensure in-process production and finished products meet all pertinent specifications to meet product and customer requirements.

responsibilities include:
visual and mechanical inspection of parts and product utilizing inspection records, bills of material, mechanical drawings and other forms of specifications, using pre-trained/determined methods for product acceptability document non-conformances, including any deviations from company procedures/work instructions utilize statistical guidelines and plans provided by the quality assurance team to determine a sampling plan for final inspection of product versus in-process inspection inspect in-process production by confirming specifications and instructions, conducting visual and measurement tests where necessary, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner generate reports (charts/graphs) showing trends in internal inspection findings (and recommend areas for improvement based on the data)requirements:
