pay and benefits: competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive comprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location pension paid time off and other leave of absence why you’ll love this job:serve as the day-to-day m&e operational lead for dtcc's portfolio of properties located in the ne of the us with a focus on our property in new jersey. the individual will be the primary engineering sme coordinating maintenance, incident critical issue, opex management, capital projects and long range forecasts, finding opportunities for improvement, etc.
your primary responsibilities: supervises the operation of ups, hvac, emergency generators, high and low voltage electrical systems, monitoring and control systems, and fire detection/suppression systems. maintains relationship with out-sourced contingent labor workforce (operating engineers and critical infrastructure suppliers). responds to and supervises emergency and corrective maintenance services. develops and implements operational and capital projects from feasibility, to design, to budgeting, to procurement, to execution, to cx, to close-out and turn-over to operations team. assists in developing and implementing operations and maintenance policies and procedures that are required to meet departmental and company goals. supports the development and management of operational and capital budgets. partners with facility management, data center operations, and security to improve and optimize current operating model. central point of coordination for maintaining iso 50001 and 140001 certification. mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.**note: the primary responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
talents needed for success: minimum of 7 years of related experience bachelor's degree preferred with masters or equivalent experience critical facility and/or office building operations with a focus on mep infrastructure. extensive experience in the design, construction, commissioning, and operations of each facility team is preferred. 8-10 years of combined experience in operation and maintenance, design, construction and retrofits of critical mep systems. strong understanding of the operations and maintenance required to support a multi-story office building. knowledge of pc and test equipment. understanding of mep drawings. autocad, and ms project a plus. b.s in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent technical work experience operating critical facilities and regional portfolios in the us. knowledge of ms office applications including word, excel, outlook, powerpoint and project a plus.we offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!
