shift: 1st, 2nd

hours: 6am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-11pm

don't miss their opening for a 1st shift material handler. you will be helping in the production of stacking the wood, assisting in making the wooden crates for cranberries and assembling pallets. associate to hire and weekly pay. apply or contact us if you are interested in this great company!

responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- sort and stack products or lumber on racks or pallets, according to predetermined sequence such as size or type of wood
- assemble customer bundles from stock and place orders on pallets or bands bundles together
- mark materials with identifying information
- paint by spray or brush, lettering with markers
- stack and bundle lumber from resaw line
- report any and all mechanical problems to lead person
- count bundles of lumber
- help in the making of the crates and pallets
- work on the production line to ensure that the lumber is flowing smoothly
- use a tape measure to check board measurements
- sweep and clean the work area as needed
- complete visual inspections of the products
- rotate with housekeeping, including breakrooms and bathrooms

requirements:
- high school diploma or ged
- experience in wood manufacturing with knowing the different wood sizes and grains is preferred
- stand and walk on concrete for 100% of shift
- lift 50lbs up to 50% of the time
- reach forward, grasp, and use hands for 100% of shift
- twist, bend at the waist 100% of shift
- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in using whole numbers
- read and understand work orders and verbal instruction
- accurately and comfortably read measuring equipment
- work in hot and humid condition in the summer and cooler conditions in the winter
- work in dusty and loud environment
