Master scheduler - united states, bridgeport

nesco is working with a medical device manufacturer in the bridgeport area to find a master scheduler to join their team. if you take ownership, drive change, and make an impact this may be the opportunity you are looking for.

on a typical day, you may be:


planning production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of products to customers. maintain erp settings to ensure that the system accurately reflects the capabilities of the facility. review and approve all sales commitments that fall outside of system derived availability tools. review sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements. monitor the manufacturing schedule throughout each month, making changes as/when necessary (e.g. equipment failures, delayed arrival of resources, etc.). monitor inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing, planning and cycle count teams when inventory accuracy or availability issues arise. utilize daily build schedules to meet monthly production and shipment goals. interfaces with multiple departments on material status and production planning issues.
here's what the ideal candidate looks like:


associate's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial technology or similar is preferred.. 5-8 years of work experience in a complex manufacturing environment. apics cpim certification preferred. experience managing people in a manufacturing environment preferred.
