job description:
e3 librarian is part of rms ecad library team modeling components in zuken e3 or similar cad tool.
the librarian will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to include hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as manufacturer representatives.
• design, development, assessment, troubleshooting and analysis.
• in addition, duties may include development of technical reports, plans, procedures for qualification test and evaluation of redesigns and prototypes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• applies technical knowledge to solve complex problems by documenting design drawings, manuals and/or documents, performs other duties as assigned.
• comply with company policies and procedures.
• work in a fast-paced environment to stringent deadlines
• document and maintain electrical drawings.

desired skills :

• skills in documenting designs in support of manufacturing builds
• experience creating component engineering drawings, source control drawings (scd), and/or vendor item drawings (vid).
• prior engineering experience within the aerospace, aeronautics, defense, space, automotive, or electronics sectors.
• candidate should be comfortable interacting with customer technical community in skype meeting environment.

required experience:
• experience with hardware design, and documentation
• knowledge with epdm or similar engineering parts data management tool
• experience with cad library development
• experience with zuken e3 or similar ecad tool
