job summary/scope of position
safely retrieve material from inventory, prepare orders for delivery, and load/unload trucks.
job responsibilities
safety first! retrieve material from inventory using a forklift and an overhead crane. verify and inspect material using tape measures and micrometers calipers. construct skids and prepare orders for shipment using power tools, tape measures, and banding equipment. replenish inventory locations with inbound material and returns. load material onto trucks using overhead cranes and forklifts. secure loads and comply with weight limits.requirements
high school graduate or equivalent preferred. warehouse and forklift experience strongly preferred. ability to read and understand english. team-oriented and dependable.
