the director of retail administration is responsible for directing all retail administration staff and operations, providing leadership and management for all purchases, warehousing and distribution of inventory to maintain growth and profitability for mmsa/june mountain retail.
the director is responsible for assisting the retail division in meeting all financial and service targets, maintaining merchandising standards, and meeting all health & safety practices and procedures.
requirementsbachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of five years’ work experience in retail management with organization and retail buying experience for multi store locations.
minimum of three years of experience with retail inventory reporting and pos systems.
ability to lead a team effectively in a demanding fast paced environment.
demonstrates ability to be self-motived and take initiative.
excellent organizational and guest service skills, time management and computer skills.
knowledge with respect to open to buy process, inventory turns, sell-though, margins, cost-of-sales, item tracking, co-op programs and replenishment stock concepts.
