lhh recruitment solutions is looking for a bank operations specialist for one of our clients in jersey city, nj. our ideal candidate has a graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.

the bank operations specialist will be responsible for supporting tier 1 investment bank clients and their back-office teams with operations aspects of banking activities and processing of trade related activities.

qualification

· bachelor’s or associates degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field

· 3-5 years of experience working in a centralized operations or branch environment. bpm experience helpful

· excellent written and verbal communication

· working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs desired

· ability to effectively troubleshoot problems and take a proactive approach in issue resolution

· ability to respond effectively to inquiries from internal team members and customers and demonstration of excellence in customer service

· ability to work in a team environment

· ability to prioritize

responsibilities:

·       handles nsf/exception item processing, wire origination, ach origination, gl/bancontrol reconciliation, certifications, eft fraud reviews, foreign item processing, dormant check handling, check adjustments, returned items, large item review, iolta/ireta remittance, research requests and other duties as needed.

·       perform cash audits and branch coverage as needed.

·       provide support to branch staff, point of contact for escalation of operational issues

·       process eft disputes, provide debit card support to branch staff, and perform card maintenance.

·       support has new account opening and maintenance processes

·       responsible for special projects as needed
