sales operations analyst

location: 100% remote

as a member of the smart residential operations team, you’ll play an intricate role in forecasting, sales pipeline, and sales analysis. this position will carry out various challenging and high visibility projects working to deliver results and partner with sales, product, operations, finance, and marketing teams.  we are looking for a dynamic personality who can thrive under tight deadlines and who is looking to develop an interesting career in the exciting, connected device market. this position is 100% remote.

what your day looks like

drive pre s&op forecast meetings with sales, product and marketing teams to capture demand in the monthly forecast process develop new tools and reports to provide scalable analysis, reporting, and forecasting capabilities. clean and import sales-out and sell-through data into the data warehouse. implement key performance metrics to provide impactful analysis to the organization including budget attainment, growth, forecast accuracy, pipeline quality, deal progression, subscription attach rate, and other operational metrics work with customer master, product attributes, retailer store data, sales team assignments. review and analyze sales and sell-through data to discover areas of opportunity (out of stock or excess inventory) and highlight important trends.

experience working with ce retailers/e-tailers and distributors located in north america comprehensive understanding of all elements of the sales process. exceptional organizational & communication skills strong analytical abilities to conduct structured strategic analysis ability to work with competing priorities and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. familiar with using sql, python, or vba

requirements

bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field 3+ years’ experience in consumer electronics or consumer goods industries experience with erp (jde preferred), business intelligence tools (powerbi, looker, business objects, ssrs, ssis, ssasi, crm understanding of retailers/e-tailers portals (e.g. vendor central, extending the reach) proficient in microsoft office suite and other analytical tools
