markit d igital is seeking a summer intern to join us as a full stack developer for our digital advertising team in boulder, co (currently working remote ly ) . this intern will be highly involved in developing ad creative for our marketing clients as well as updating the internal tools that we use to manage camp aigns.

enjoys learning and using a wide variety of technologies in their day-to-day work .
enjoys being part of a team with digital advertising analysts, optimization specialists, and talented designers who work together to see what, why, and for whom our campaigns work.
we are looking for someone who enjoys diversity ranging from creative development to ui design / development to debugging live javascript code.


skills and experience :

is currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or related field academic knowledge and project experience in some of the following technologies: javascript, html, css, react, vue, or angular, node.js web accessibility (wcag 2.1 aa) centralized version control system like git or subversion css animation or javascript library animation restful apis with swagger/openapi specifications excellent written and verbal skills desire to take initiative ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently

bonus points for experience with:

experience with mysql or other rdbms development.
familiarity with linux environments (rhel, centos)
awareness of continuous integration and automated testing
awareness of containers
knowledge of financial domain
digital marketing success metrics
rich media creative
the financial industry
