confidential search for a creative executive working chef who would embrace the lifestyle offered in raising their family in a beautiful mi resort area community.

the executive chef should have upscale, fine dining & casual dining expertise in a resort, hotel, or busy seasonal restaurant. scratch kitchen, great staff to mentor. restaurant has extensive outdoor patios; summers are extremely busy. food and beverage revenue over $5 million.

requirements:

· culinary degree, bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience

· minimum of 5 years of experience as an executive chef working in chef driven/scratch kitchen concepts

· creative, multi-dimensional with experience working with a wide variety of cuisines

· proven leadership in managing a kitchen and team members

· experience training, developing and engaging team members

· ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations and ability to motivate staff to do the same

· strong communication and organizational skills
